Build a draw

Enter a draw one cost code at a time, watch the in-balance test, and clear the required documents before it goes out.

A draw is a request for money against the lender's facility. This page is where one is built: the lender's budget lines at the top, then what this draw advances, then the entry sheet by internal cost code, then the invoices in the draw, then the documents the lender requires.

Each row on the entry sheet saves on its own, so the row and the form are the same element. You do not fill a page and submit it.

In balance

The in-balance test asks whether the remaining commitment still covers the remaining cost. The panel states the answer, and where the answer is no it states what curing the shortfall would take: the amount, by when, and who has to agree.

It deliberately does not predict whether the cure will happen. PadFlow knows what each member holds. It does not know how anybody will vote, and a confidence indicator on a covenant test would be the product inventing a fact about people.

Which lines appear

A retired cost code leaves the entry sheet, because it takes no new postings. The exception is a retired code that already carries a figure on this draw. That line stays and stays editable, because dropping it would hide a request that is still in the totals above and still in the requisition the lender receives.

Required documents

The checklist at the bottom is the gate on the package. An item that blocks is marked as blocking, and the lender package refuses to render while a blocking item is outstanding.
