Compare budget against actual costs
Each project's budget beside the costs pulled from your accounting file, rolled up at book level.
Budget vs. actual reads your accounting file and puts the costs it holds next to the budget they were spent against. This page is the roll-up, one row per project. The same tab inside a project breaks the figures out per cost code.
The costs shown are whatever the last successful sync wrote. A connection that has stopped working does not blank the figures, it stops them moving, so the page states when each connection last ran rather than letting a stale number imply a live one.
Where the costs come from
A cost is matched to a budget line when it is pulled, not when this page is drawn. Values that have not been mapped to a project or a cost code do not count toward a budget, which is the right answer for the accounts a developer does not track as job costs. The mapping page is where that is decided.

The connection between PadFlow and a real accounting company file has not been run end to end outside a sandbox. The mapping and the roll-up work on real data; the sync that fills them has been exercised against staged files only.
